We, along with our APTi partners within organizations committed to the responsible application of type, are pleased to announce a new partnership with Qualifying.org and Roger Pearman designed to bring new benefits and tools to APTi members. As part of this partnership, APTi members will receive discounts on the
Golden Personality Type Profiler™ bridge course and a free year of APTi membership when they complete one of three certification programs. Here are the details:
This course is for those already certified to use B-level tools or certified users of valid personality type instruments (e.g., MBTI, Majors PTI, JTI, and other B-level tools which report out E/I, S/N, T/F, and J/P) to become qualified/certified to purchase, administer and interpret the Golden Personality Type Profiler™ through an online e-Learning course. This course is designed to provide a bridge from other personality type tools to the Golden Personality Type Profiler™, an outstanding evolution in the use of personality type in coaching, teaming, and leadership development. Special e-Learning modules are included in this course to introduce strategies for using the Golden. (For more information about the Golden, see the description below.)
The Golden Personality Type Profiler™ is based on the best measurement science available, covering 5 Global Dimensions and 16 Facets. The Golden adds a 5th Global Dimension (Tense-Calm) to the traditional four preferences and reports on how an individual responds on all factors, not just their majority preferences. The Golden is distributed and supported by Pearson, the world’s largest assessment company, which provides a FREE user-friendly and comprehensive online scoring site accessible from anywhere in the world, without concern for territorial distribution rights and/or scoring price discrepancies. The cost per administration of the Golden is significantly less than some other personality type instruments as well.
The Breckenridge Type Indicator™ (BTI) is one of the most successful efforts to produce a valid and reliable measure of enneagram personality types. The enneagram theory involves nine positions on a circumplex model in which all positions have various relationships to each other. The scores on all nine positions provide insight into primary growth areas and key strengths. The positions reflect primary motives of behavior related to
head, heart, and action-oriented psychological patterns. The Breckenridge Type Indicator™ (BTI) also provides feedback on somatic patterns, a reflection of the distribution of physical/biological energies in interpersonal interactions. The BTI is published by The Breckenridge Institute®, a research center for the study of organizational culture based in Boulder, CO.
