This virtual program is presented by the Bay Area Association for Psychological Type (BAAPT) chapter.

After reviewing some of the theories of Type Development, particularly around mid-life, we will take a look at the facts that influence our mid-life development.  

With the opportunity to have some small group discussions, participants will be able to share experiences and thoughts on the mid-life stage.  

In the final part, Angelina will present some ideas about how to coach or develop clients who are already well developed and who may be questioning their career paths and their purpose in life.

  • A mix of theory, experiential discussion and a self-development exercise.
  • Exploration of several theories of mid-life development
  • Considering the different styles of mid-life transition
  • How we can facilitate development at mid-life
  • How we can help mature or well-developed clients to develop as leaders

This presentation is geared to All levels of type knowledge.

ABOUT OUR PRESENTER 

Angelina Bennet is a Chartered Occupational Psychologist and specializes in developing individuals through personality work. She has an occupational psychology business in the UK offering coaching, development and assessment. She was introduced to Type when she worked for OPP (The Myers Briggs Co) qualifying people to become MBTI® practitioners and now, with her business partner, runs alternative type qualification training through Type Pro Ltd. Her other areas of interest center around people development including transpersonal coaching and the Enneagram. She was awarded a Professional Doctorate in 2011 and her thesis focused on the further development of type theory. She is a past President of the British Association for Psychological Type (BAPT) and the author of The Shadows of Type - Psychological Type through Seven Levels of Development. Angelina has INTJ preferences.
