Dr. Angelina Bennet - Friend or Foe? The Inferior Function
Saturday, December 03, 2022, 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM PDT
Category: APTi Chapter Events

This virtual program is presented by the Sacramento Association for Psychological Type (SACAPT) chapter.

The inferior function - sometimes called the 4th function - is one of the most fascinating aspects of our psyche. It is often overlooked as it does not feature in our type code and it tends to be regarded as the “not me” side of our personality. Yet it has an almost continuous presence in our everyday lives.

Many people are familiar with Naomi Quenk's In the Grip theory, in which the inferior function erupts during stress; however, it makes its presence felt in many other situations, although we may not consciously be aware of it.

In this session, Angelina will invite the audience to consider the different roles that their inferior function takes in their lives, and how it can be a hindrance, a source of negative perception, a haven, a source of excitement, and a gateway for development.

$20 if not a SacAPT member.
