This program is presented by the Bay Area Association for Psychological Type (BAAPT) chapter.

  • Individuation through typological development
  • Experiential understanding of the relationship between superior and auxiliary functions
  • Using popular film to illustrate key typological concepts, and using film as image to further develop theory

Main take aways for personal use:

  • How to use active imagination in the individuation process through a typological lens
  • Improving one’s ability to dialogue with other members of a team or in other relationships
  • Better understanding of how to support but also challenge those in our lives to better assist their own process of individuation

For those using type professionally:

  • How to integrate popular film and media into dialogue with theoretical and conceptual material
  • A discussion of typological development with regard to ideal order of function development relative to type
  • Being able to use this information to facilitate conflict resolution or generate greater creativity during brainstorming and project development situations 

This presentation is geared to an Intermediate level of type knowledge.


 

ABOUT KEVIN KELL

Kevin Kell, LCSW, provides clinical outpatient therapy services through his private practice with The Center for Change & Healing (www.changeandhealing.com). He contributed a chapter, “Archetypal Vocationing,” to New Visions, New Voices (forthcoming through Roman & Littlefield). Kevin is a professional artist specializing in custom leather work and hide drums through Kell Leather Craft (www.KellLeatherCraft.com). He is a classically trained operatic bass and performs professionally and competitively in the Chicago land area. Kevin holds two master’s degrees, one from Loyola University Chicago in social work with a concentration in mental health and one from Pacifica Graduate Institute in Jungian and Archetypal Studies. He is currently pursuing doctoral studies through Pacifica as well. Kevin has ENFP preferences.
